Research interests

Probability theory and its applications to the performance evaluation and control of information and communication systems — with a growing focus on reinforcement learning, federated learning, distance learning, and unsupervised methods. A recurring thread is understanding the behaviour of complex stochastic systems (networks, particle systems, random graphs) in steady state and transient regimes, as well as connections to other sciences (physics, neuroscience, operation research ...)
